year 2 semester 2

{you dont know how much they mean to me.}
and so i'm half way through year 2 semester 2. and i just want to rewind back to the cny break because i had tons of fun with my family. we went exhibition hopping and that really one of the things i enjoy doing with them.
projects and assignments are a drag, and i managed to rush an academic paper last week on top of having to write another paper with a whole group of people. it should be known that writing a paper in a group is really a very bad idea because i feel really constrained, since all of us have different ways of phrasing and expression
(that and some people aren't exactly good in english and they'd leech off but that's another problem).
can't wait for spring break to come soon, and maybe the summer semester wouldn't be that bad since it's short and fast.
let the pain be short and swift.
on the side note, i feel like i have not written anything for leisure recently and that thought pisses me off. and i'm not hyped for lantis matsuri even if i'm seeing tattsun and ono kensho live. i need motivation or i'll just cry at the concert while screaming how i dont know any songs.

and from above you can see how close i am to most of my extended family because my uncle went all "hey you need to pose like this," thus both our 'acting cute' pose in the photo (it was hilarious okay). alright, for context wise, i've been away at kukup, malaysia over the weekends (saturday to sunday) with almost the whole of my extended family from my father's side. we had the most enjoyable time doing tons of stuff like hijacking the KTV room and singing songs, and playing majong till we are zombiefied and making weird majong moves.
and i pretty much slept a lot while i was there. a simple fishing village but pretty many singaporeans go there. and just ... idk, i like that i couldnt connect to wifi because i managed to relax and didnt really want to come back to singapore.
and then we bought tons of snacks, and i think i can hear dad's horrified scream coming from outside just now.
