guess who is just trying to survive semester 1 of year 2?

yeah. i have totally no idea why doing assignments are a drag right now. maybe because we basically have almost no essays or paper to write for the whole of summer semester which is why i am so against writing academic papers right now.

on a non-academic note, i managed to finish my yye assignment and reach a whole new level on word count for fanfictions. never have i thought that i would've hit 10,000 words on writing a fanfiction (i had to struggle to hit 1,000 words before), and i really expected myself to only reach the minimum word count of 2,000 words this time round.

but no.

i managed to out do myself and hit a 10,000 words (i had expected to at least use 8,000 words at how the plot was going, but to hit 10k is really something in my books). and that resulted to me writing longer these days. just recently i easily wrote 3,400+ words myself for just a simple plot. makes me proud that at least i can write i guess? gonna aim to slowly polish up my writing and aim to write a really long and solid plot (well, i'm already planning it i guess? i love to plot too much and i'm nervous about butchering it).

on another non-academic note, i've finally cosplayed! went to stgcc with laikeuw and van (and van's bf and friend), as a inu x boku ss group. i swear i'm a failed karuta so i'm never putting the group photo up anywhere, ever. and i basically just evaded photos (not on purpose). next cos would be during AFA, which reminds me that i need to get my stuffs from taobao soon.

alright academic wise, i think i'm okay. mid-terms are piling and assignments are due. projects are all coming up as well. not sure how i'd fare but i'll need to have more self-discipline for one. i doubt i would fail, but getting good grades is really another story.
